Aberdeen: Researcher develops blood-clot-on-a-chip model Featured

Professor Nicola Mutch of the University of Aberdeen is developing a human-based model that will shed light on how blood clots form and break down and what causes diseases such as coronary heart disease.


This could lead to more effective drugs for a range of diseases and the replacement of animals in research.
