EURL ECVAM: Applications for the use of High-Throughput Testing Facility Are Open Until September 10 Featured

The European Union Reference Laboratory for Alternatives to Animal Testing (EURL ECVAM) runs a testing facility dedicated to the development, validation, and standardization of in vitro methods. Researchers and organizations can now apply for access to this state-of-the-art, automated facility.

EURL ECVAM offers users who wish to automate their in vitro methods free access to its high-throughput testing laboratory (HTT) to evaluate the transferability, reliability, and overall performance of the methods they have developed.

The heart of the laboratory consists of two fully automated platforms with different configurations for 96- and 384-well plate formats, equipped with liquid-handling robots, robotic arms for plate transfer, automated incubators, multifunctional microplate readers (i.e., for luminescence, fluorescence, or absorption measurements) and automated microscopes for high-throughput cellular imaging.

Deadline is September 10, 2026
