New Working group – a Portrait: Dynamic42 GmbH Featured

InVitro+Jobs presents scientists and their innovative research in a regular feature called “Working Group – a Portrait”. We focus on newly developed methods, their evaluation, and their potential for reducing and where possible replacing animal experimentation according to the 3R principles of Russel & Burch (reduce, refine, replace). In this issue, we present a young spin-off from Jena, Dynamic42 GmbH.

The company was founded in March 2018 as a spin-off from the "Center of Sepsis Control and Care" (CSCC) of the University Hospital Jena, Germany.
The company, based in the BioInstrument Center on the Beutenberg campus in Jena, develops and markets three-dimensional, human organ models (so-called organ-on-chip technology or microphysiological systems) to support preclinical research and development as well as to test pharmaceutical substances, chemicals, and food additives.
