Application can be made by research institutions, companies or persons located in Berlin or Brandenburg working in the field of science with planned or ongoing research projects resp. those projects that are intended to be used to replace, reduce or refine animal experiments. This also includes projects that have already been taken up approaches and develop them further in such a way that they are could widely applied in practice
(pre-validation or validation).

Reminder: Application deadline for the Berlin Animal Welfare Research Award is the 30th of September Featured
The Department of Justice, Consumer Protection and Anti-Discrimination of the Senate together with the State Office for Health and Social Affairs and the Association of researching pharmaceutical companies (vfa) is presenting the this years research prize for the promotion of the development of alternative and complementary methods to animal testing. The prize money amounts to euros 30,000,-. Deadline is the 30th of September.
