Ispra: JCR Summer School 2019 Featured

Under the title "Non-Animal Approaches in Science: Challenges & Future Directions", the Joint Research Center (JRC) is organizing a Summer School in Ispra (Italy) from May 21 to 24, 2019. Applications are accepted until 15 January 2019.


Over four days, the Summer School will offer lectures and debates on topics such as the legal situation and state of play of replacement methods to animal testing in the EU, in vitro and in silico methods and technologies, as well as practical application examples for the legally required tests and in industry. There will also be a poster award ceremony.

Participation is limited to 120 persons. Participation is intended for master's and PhD students as well as young scientists whose master's work was completed no more than four years ago.

Applications are accepted until 15 January 2019.
