PISC Award to Attend the IIVS’ January 2019 Practical Methods for In Vitro Toxicology Workshop Featured

The PETA International Science Consortium is holding a contest to provide a student or early-career scientist with the opportunity to attend the annual Institute for In Vitro Sciences’ Practical Methods for In Vitro Toxicology workshop in January 2019 in Gaithersburg, MD, USA.


Workshop attendees will participate in lectures by experts in the field of in vitro toxicology and gain hands-on laboratory experience in applying in vitro methods. The winner will receive complementary workshop registration and reimbursement for hotel and airfare up to US$1,000. The contest is open to students working towards their master’s or PhD who have completed their first year of study, postdoctoral fellows less than three years out of a master’s or PhD program, or  scientists less than three years out of a master’s, PhD, or postdoctoral program.

The deadline to apply is October 24, 2018.
