EURL ECVAM: Survey on acceptance of complex in vitro methods Featured

The European Validation Authority for Alternatives to Animal Experiments (EURL ECVAM) is currently conducting a survey on acceptance and confidence in animal-free methods such as 3D cell cultures, spheroids, bioreactor models and microphysiological systems.

The survey aims to reflect the opinions of all those who are interested in complex in-vitro models and their possible applications regardless of how familiar the participant is with the topic.

The results of the survey after evaluation of the answers will be published. By combination with information from other sources ECVAM wants to use it to develop validation strategies and technology transfer initiatives to accelerate the introduction and application of complex in vitro models and methods in a wide range of sectors.

The survey will run until 31 May 2018.
