Cosmetics: EU declare oneself in favour of global ban on animal testing Featured

The European Union pleads for a worldwide marketing ban on cosmetics tested on animals. Today, in 80 percent of the countries worldwide it is still possible to carry out animal Experiments for cosmetic products or they are demanded.

 
In recent years, Cruelty-Free International (CFI) and the American Institute for In-Vitro-Sciences (IIVS) have often contributed to convince non-European regulatory authorities of the new, animal-free methods. CFI has done intensive campaign work and has spoken to the UN.
