Congress on 3D cell cultures in London Featured

SMi Group presents a 3D Cell Culture conference which takes place on the 22nd and 23rd February 2017 in London. One of the keynote speaker is Reyk Horland from TissUse in Berlin. His focus is, among others, interaction of intestine organoids. He will give an estimation according to a possible replacement of preclinial trials by multi organ chips. Samuel Constant, founder of the Epithelix company in Switzerland, is focused on human 3d lung models. Other conference speakers are scientists from pharmaceutical industry who will report on the potential of 3d cell cultures in practise.

The 3D cell culture market is predicted to reach $3702.2 million by 2021* with main increase seen in novel technologies and culture methods.
