Education without animal use: new simulation programs for physiology Featured

On the website Virtual Physiology from the Institute of Physiology, University of Marburg, the new simulation programm editition Virtual Physiology, formerly published by Thieme, is offered with improved and extended functions.

Even if not yet all modules are completed: besides the new program "SimMuscle" and "SimNeuron" a demo version of "SimNerv" with extended functionality for downloading is available on the website. There is also a new html link html to a temporarily version of "SimHeart" designed.

The simulation programs provide an animal-free alternative for use in the study of medicine, veterinary medicine, biology and related subjects - anywhere where physiology issues are mediated.
