    Our start-up Dynamic42 GmbH carries out contract research in the field of preclinical drug development. We investigate the effects of drug candidates on human organ models. Our company is located in Jena in the Technologiezentrum Beutenberg Campus. We are a young, growing company that develops cutting-edge technologies for commercialization. Central fields of activity in our company are the maintenance of cell culture, the preparation and execution of biological analyses and the management of biological samples. In order to reinforce our lab staff we are looking for a

    lab technician

    responsible for organizational tasks, cell culture maintenance and assistance in biological contract work.
  • Qualifications:

    • completed an apprenticeship as Biologisch (Chemisch) Technische/r Assistent/in (B(C)TA) or Medizinisch Technische/r Assistent/in (MTA) or bachelor degree in biology/biochemistry/biotechnology
    • several years of job experience in a cell culture lab
    • work experience with cell lines and primary cells (optionally iPSC)
    • good English and German skills
    • high level of commitment and initiative and the ability to work independently
    • high level of responsibility and care
    • knowledge in the area of organ-on-chip and microphysiological systems is helpful
    • extensive experience with analysis, sample management, chemiluminescence and fluorescence-based assays, immunofluorescence and cell microscopy
    • experience with RNA isolation/qRT-PCR
    • experience in lab management
    • experience in creating SOPs and procedural instructions are an advantage
    • experience with quality management (ISO 9001, ISO 13485) is also helpful
    • technical understanding is helpful

    • organization and thorough documentation of biological contract work and analyses

    • implementation and maintenance of QM documentation
    • assistance with genetic engineering and lab safety documentation
