You will find this to be an attractive place for both working and living. For our department Crop Protection - Ecotoxicology, located at Limburgerhof, we are looking for an
Ecotoxicological Modeller (m/f).

You will perform and supervise modelling scenarios for ecotoxicological and ecological topics. For that purpose you will develop and apply experimental and theoretical solutions to ecotoxicological issues. The testing results will be evaluated, analysed and processed by you in a scientific way. You will also present and communicate your findings to affiliates and public authorities. While performing and supervising environmental risk assessment studies you will develop innovative approaches concerning the use of modelling tools and will have the opportunity to develop this area of expertise into a relevant part of our regulatory science activities. Project management tasks and other key responsibilities are within the scope of your tasks as well.

Qualifikationen You have earned a university degree (PhD preferred) in a field related to modelling (biostatistics, mathematics) or ecology (biology, environmental sciences, ecotoxicology, agriculture). You are experienced in population modelling (preferably in the field of ecotoxicology / ecology topics) and have a deep knowledge of environmental sciences and ecology / ecotoxicology. You are able to work with standard IT applications as well as with specialised modelling software and have profound statistical knowledge. You also have a good command of English. Furthermore, you have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work well in a team and you interact successfully with internal and external customers.
